•Closing Commentary

Glory by Honor has confirmed what we all know: Marty Scurll’s time in ROH is coming to an end. I think this is the best for Marty and for ROH. As I discussed last week, ROH needs to undergo a facelift. Marty is a vestige of ROH’s past; fans will always talk about the “what if” of Marty’s career in ROH.

His departure will allow ROH the opportunity to transition in the next 6-9 months to go back to its roots. ROH is a service for people like Tyler Bateman, who recently signed. He has been in the business for a long time, and now he has an opportunity to showcase his talents to a larger, hardcore wrestling audience.

ROH should continue to get great and hard-working talent, who deserve a big break into the larger nation wrestling scene. There are a multitude of interesting talents that ROH could go for in the future. I will list some possibilities next week in my closing commentary.
