[HOUR ONE]

-Josh Matthews and Don Callis were in the ring hyping up the episode.

(1) MARUFUJI vs JOSH ALEXANDER (w/Ethan Page)

They started with quite a bit of grappling, but it quickly went to striking. Alexander attempted to powerbomb Marufuji, but he got out, but Alexander hit him with a backbreaker instead. A few strikes back and forth. Alexander gets a torture rack spin out on Marufuji for a near fall. Marufuji hit Sliced Bread #2 for the win.

WINNER: Marufuji in about 9 minutes.

(Galindo’s Analysis: Great back and forth match. Good action to start off the show.)

-OVE showed up to the building and security told Sami Callihan that Madman Fulton, and the Crist brothers are banned from the building. They got angry but then Sami cooled off and said it was fine and told Dave and Jake to get Fulton some food.

-The Rascalz were hanging out in their clubhouse. Des was talking about Trey’s mom and describing her body. Trey showed up and asked what they were talking about. Wentz said nothing. They joked about Trey living with his mom. Then Fallah Bahh came in and wouldn’t say anything other than his name. Then the Rascalz got Bahh stoned. He had glasses on and spoke perfect English. He started quoting Shakespeare and acting like a bro. He said he didn’t have TJP’s back. Trey quoted Gucci Mane. Dez told him to believe in himself. They all started quoting inspirational catchphrases and Bahh started chanting his name again.

(2) ROSEMARY & JORDYNNE GRACE & ALEXIA NICOLE vs TAYA VALKYRIE & MADISON RAYNE & KIERA HOGAN

Nicole and Hogan started together. Nicole kicked Hogan out of the ring. Rayne jumped out and attacked her. Then Rosemary grabbed Rayne. Valkyrie tried to jump in but was intercepted by Grace. Rosemary and Grace then took down Rayne and Valkyrie. They then posed in the ring with Nicole. [c]

She hurt her shoulder. Nicole walked up and she poked Nicole in the eye. She then tagged in Valkyrie. Nicole tagged in Grace. Grace started beating down on Valkyrie. She hit a Vader bomb on Valkyrie, but Rayne broke up the pin fall. Grace threw Rayne out of the ring. Grace then hit Valkyrie with an inside cradle pin.

WINNERS: Jordynne Grace, Rosemary, and Alexia Nicole in about 8 minutes.

(Galindo’s Analysis: Very good match to show off what the Knockouts can do but didn’t give a good enough chance to show as much as they can. Would have been a bit more beneficial with less competitors.)

-Rob Van Dam and Katie Forbes were in a hot tub. He said that he got all his moves from his mind, but today’s stars got all their moves from him. He said without him, there would be no Kenny Omega, Daniel Bryan, or the Young Bucks. He said he was tired of carrying Rhino and he carried all of ECW. [c]

Then they did a double team super neckbreaker for the win.

WINNERS: Rich Swann and Willie Mack in about 5 minutes.

(Galindo’s Analysis: Willie Mack is a star and this match did nothing but show that. Rich Swann was consistent with his offense. The Squad actually looked more aggressive than usual.)

-Rhino grabbed people in the hallway looking for Rob Van Dam. Jimmy Jacobs told him he’s on vacation. Rhino then talked into the camera saying he was going to destroy RVD when he sees him next. [c]

-Moose was on a golf course. He talked about being in football and pro wrestling, saying he was the greatest football player, wrestler, and that beating Shamrock means he’s the greatest MMA fighter of all time. Now he will show he’s the greatest golfer of all time. He claimed to get a hole in one and then beat up a guy who picked up his ball and then dropped it into the hole and claimed it was a hole in one.

-Ken Shamrock came out to address his future. He said he never thought he’d be in a wrestling ring again, but Moose lit a fire underneath him. He said he knew he was going to win but it hurt that he lost. He said he did a lot of soul searching to find out what was next. Before he could give his decision, Joey Ryan came out. He put his lollipop in his trunks. He told Shamrock that he has one more mountain to climb and nodded toward his own crotch. Shamrock told him he didn’t know who he was. Ryan said he is the guy who makes wrestling fun again. Shamrock called him “that penis guy.” He said he’s a real fighter and Ryan is a gimmick. Ryan said it was stiff, no pun intended. He said “if he’s just a gimmick, why is he afraid to touch it? Because it will tap him out faster than the grazing choke?” Shamrock said he wasn’t going to retire but put Impact on notice that he’s going to tear through anyone in his way. He said he will break Ryan’s ankle. Ryan said next week, “The World’s Most Dangerous Man vs The World’s Most Dangerous Manhood.” They shook hands but Ryan tried to pull his hand to his crotch, but Shamrock pushed him out.

Ace superkicked Eddie from the apron. He grabbed the other trashcan and threw it into the ring. He started choking Eddie with his shirt. He threw Eddie into the ring. He pulled out a table. He attempted to put it in the ring but changed his mind. He grabbed a chair instead and got into the ring. Eddie took him down with a trashcan lid. He went out and grabbed the table and put it in the ring. He grabbed Austin but Austin hit him with the lid. Austin set up the table in the corner. Reno Scum ran down and started attacking Eddie. Eddie hit a belly to belly on Thornstowe into the table. Austin hit a leg drop on Eddie for a near fall. [c]

He pulled out a piece of metal for his hand brace. He hit Eddie with it. He hit a version of a Fold from the top of the corner through the table for the win.

WINNER: Ace Austin in over 16 minutes.

(Galindo’s Analysis: A fun street fight. Violence for violence purposes. It served it’s purpose. The Fold into the trashcan was creative.)

-Su Yung walked up all nice and said hello to the Deaners. She claimed her name was Susie. She was all nice and cute with no face paint. The Deaners said she was creepier than before and hotter. [c]

-Johnny Swinger told Alisha that she has potential. Ace Austin told him to leave her alone because she’s married and doesn’t need scumbags to hit on her. He said she wasn’t there to party with him. She said her relationship with Eddie is too complicated. Ace then asked her out for dinner. She said yes for next week.

Sami dropkicked the door into Cage’s face. Cage then powerbombed Sami into the cage wall. He then lawn darted Sami into the cage wall. Sami pushed him into the cage wall and then ran into the cage. He then ran and crashed into him up against the cage wall. He then crashed against him one more time but then missed the third. [c]

Sami then hit Cage with a bunch of slaps and a lariat for a near fall. Sami hit the Cactus Special, but Cage kicked out at one. He hit Sami with a powerbomb and then a bucklebomb. Sami reversed the Drill Claw and kicked him a few times then hit him with three Cactus Specials for a near fall. He went for another Cactus Special, but Cage reversed with an Alabama Slam and a lariat for a near fall. They climbed into the corner and hit each other with a few headbutts. He then hit a super cactus special off the turnbuckle for the win.

WINNER: Sami Callihan via Pinfall in under 14 minutes.

(Galindo’s Analysis: A very hard-hitting match. One of the better cage matches I’ve seen in about a year. Jim Ross would have called it a slobber knocker. I thoroughly enjoyed it.)

After the match, Sami celebrated with the title belt, looking shocked that he won. Tessa Blanchard came out and got into the cage. He had the bat and belt in his hands. They stared each other down for the closing moments.

FINAL THOUGHTS: Great debut on AXS TV. Sami finally won his championship and he deserved it. Can’t wait to see what happens with him and Tessa going forward.
