WEEKLY OVERVIEW – ROH (thru 12/4): Top stories of week, major show lineups, live event results, schedule of live events, noteworthy social media posts, more

By Tyler Sage, PWTorch Contributor

SPOTLIGHTED PODCAST ALERT (YOUR ARTICLE BEGINS A FEW INCHES DOWN)...

The following article is part of our Weekly Overview Series to help put in perspective major wrestling promotions with a weekly overview, looking at news and roster developments, results, future line-ups, social media activity, key interviews, plus a timely commentary at the end. We will be featuring similar features on other promotions each week and each will be updated weekly.

•Top Stories of the Week

  • The bad PR for ROH storyline has continued into this week. More mainstream sites like si.com have jumped on the kelly Klein story. While there is not anything that a savvy surveyor of ROH news, like yourself, has not seen in the last week. This is still another domino against ROH in this news cycle. Imagine having not ever heard of or thought about ROH for a long time, and then you see this story. This is not the story ROH wants those people to see.
  • There are rumors about the pay of Woman in Ring of Honor, as well as non-contracted talent in one-off events. The information does not have any hard sourcing, but paired with the news that Kelly Klein was making $24,000 a year makes this seem at least plausible. The link to these rumors is here: sportskeeda.com
