Former WWE Women’s Champion, Mickie James, will be wrestling on night one of Joey Janela’s Spring Break 6 during WrestleMania week. Janela announced on Twitter that James would face Allie Katch on the show. This is James’ first appearance for the company.

Mickie James is a former Impact Knockouts Champion and was released from WWE in April of 2021. After leaving, James joined the NWA promotion and served as a special executive producer for an all women’s event called Empower. She later revealed that she would return to the ring for the NWA at their 75th Anniversary show. At that event, James defeated Kylie Rae in a first-ever singles match.
Soon after the NWA match, James made her return to Impact Wrestling. In July of 2021, Mickie James appeared and confronted then Impact Knockouts Champion, Deonna Purrazzo. The confrontation led to a multiple match series between both women in which James regained the Knockouts Championship. The feud culminated in a Texas Death Match at at this year’s Hard to Kill PPV event.
Allie Katch is a staple act in GCW. In January, Katch wrestled Ruby Soho at GCW’s debut show at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York. Katch has wrestled signature opponents like Thunder Rosa, Chelsea Green, and Penelope Ford. She’s also wrestled intergender matches against A.J. Gray, Tony Deppen, Effy, and others.

Night one of Joey Janela’s Spring Break 6 will air on Fite TV as part of The Collective on March 31. Night two will air on Fite TV on April 1. Night two matches include Chris Dickinson vs. Matt Cardona and Effy vs. Minoru Suzuki.
