Tony Khan has revealed that another new star will join AEW roster soon.

In an interview on the Strong Style Show, Khan teased a brand new acquisition to his company’s women’s division when answering a question regarding bringing in more women’s talent.

“Yes,” AEW President Tony Khan said of adding women’s talent. “I’m not going to say who, but yes. It’s a good question and without naming any specific names or spoiling anything, I will tell you yes. And as for when and where, I suggest you watch Rampage tonight (3/25) to get more info.”

In addition to that news, Friday’s episode of AEW Rampage will feature Shane Strickland vs. Ricky Starks for the FTW Championship, Dustin Rhodes vs. Lance Archer, Dark Order vs. Kyle O’Reilly & Bobby Fish, and Hook receiving a certificate of accomplishment from QT Marshall. Nyla Rose will also be in action on this week’s show.

Khan’s last major addition to the AEW women’s division was Ruby Soho. Soho came to AEW after being release from WWE and debuted at the All Out PPV event last September. Since her debut, Soho advanced to the finals of the AEW TBS Championship Tournament, a match she lost to Jade Cargill. Soho also wrestled Britt Baker in the main event of AEW’s Arthur Ashe Stadium show for the AEW Women’s World Championship.

Currently, Thunder Rosa is the AEW Women’s World Champion. Rosa defeated Baker for the championship in a cage match on last week’s episode of AEW Dynamite.
