WWE held a major talent meeting ahead of WrestleMania 38 this weekend.

Fightful Select is reporting that John Laurinaitis, Nick Khan, and Triple H led the discussion and a multitude of topics including talent revenue opportunities. The report indicates that Triple H was a surprise guest introduced by Laurinaitis and that the talent were emotional as they hadn’t seen Triple H since before his health issues in September of last year.

Triple H addressed the health issues and then introduced Nick Khan. Khan revealed to the WWE talent that they would now be allowed to generate income and revenue in addition to their contracts via partnerships on Cameo, other vendors, autograph signings, and outside appearances. Fightful’s reporting revealed that the talent present at the meeting said things were positive and that hearing that news was a great way to go into a major weekend of work.

Talent earning money outside company bounds in Cameo, Twitch, and autograph environments was a major sticking point between the office and talent throughout the last few years. Talent was banned from using those avenues with company likeness to earn income until now.

WrestleMania 38 airs live this weekend from Dallas, Texas. The Sunday main event is Brock Lesnar vs. Roman Reigns for the Undisputed World Championship. Saturday’s main event segment reportedly will be the “Stone Cold” Steve Austin appearance on the KO Show with Kevin Owens. Other matches on the card include Becky Lynch vs. Bianca Belair for the Raw Women’s Championship, Ronda Rousey vs. Charlotte Flair for the Smackdown Women’s Championship, and more.
