Becky Lynch has responded to “The Notorious” Conor McGregor’s request to be at WrestleMania.

During night two of WrestleMania 38 in Dallas, McGregor took to social media to publicly wonder why he wasn’t a part of WrestleMania. “Why wasn’t I at WrestleMania,” McGregor wrote. “They all fear me, that’s why.”

The former Raw Women’s Champion, Becky Lynch, addressed the former UFC flyweight and lightweight world champion, suggesting he join her at WrestleMania next year. “Hey man. I could have used you,” Lynch said back to McGregor. “Bianca brought an army. Next year?”

Lynch lost her Raw Women’s Championship to Bianca Belair during night one of WrestleMania 38. Lynch had been champion since beating Belair at Summerslam in 26 seconds. Lynch turned heel that night and had a long feud with Belair that culminated with their match over the weekend. Belair earned the opportunity to face Lynch after winning the women’s Elimination Chamber match in February of this year.

Lynch is a former Smackdown Women’s Champion and was part of the first-ever women’s main event of WrestleMania in 2019. In that match, Lynch defeated both Charlotte Flair and Ronda Rousey in a triple threat match to win both the Raw Women’s Championship and the Smackdown Women’s Championship. Becky would lose the Smackdown Women’s Championship, but hang on to the Raw Women’s Championship for over a year. Lynch would defeat Shayna Baszler to retain her title at WrestleMania 36, but then vacate the championship to become a mother.

Lynch stayed away from the WWE until appearing at Summerslam.
