AEW Rampage pulled in 482,000 viewers and a .22 in the adult 18-49 demographic in a new time slot on Friday night. This week’s show moved from 10pm EST to 7pm EST due to the NBA Playoffs airing on TNT. The 482,000 viewership is down from last week’s 600,000 number, but the demo rating is up from a .18. This week’s adult 18-49 demo was the highest of the last five weeks.

Friday’s Rampage was live and featuring an AEW World Championship Texas Death Match between “Hangman” Adam Page and Adam Cole. The bout was a bloody affair that included tables and barbed wire. In the end, Page won the match when Cole couldn’t respond to a ten count.

Other matches on the show included Blackpool Combat Club vs. The Gunn Club, The Butcher in a squash match against Barrett Brown, and Ruby Soho vs. Robin Renegade in a women’s Owen Hart Foundation tournament qualifying match. This week’s Rampage was also the go-home episode of AEW television ahead of Battle of the Belts 2, which featured Sammy Guevara vs. Scorpio Sky for the TNT Championship and Thunder Rosa vs. Nyla Rose in Rosa’s first AEW Women’s World Championship title defense. On the show, Guevara secured the TNT Championship for a third time and Rosa retained her title.
