C.M. Punk responded to reports on the potential overturning of Roe vs. Wade during an exchange with a fan on Instagram. Punk reposted an old picture of himself wearing a pro-choice t-shirt. A fan criticized Punk’s opinion and Punk answered with a scathing rebuttal.

“A little bit, yeah,” Punk said on whether or not he would cry. “For my wife, my sisters, for mothers and women who are helplessly watching their rights over their own bodies stripped away by elite, rich, white, terrorist, religious fascists. Being human means I cry when injustices masquerade as religious right. Her body, her choice.

Politico reported earlier in the week that a leaked first draft of the majority opinion on a Mississippi court case rules in favor of the state outlawing abortions and overturning Roe vs. Wade.

C.M. Punk will wrestled in his first AEW title match at Double or Nothing. Last week on Dynamite, AEW announced that Punk would face “Hangman” Adam Page for the AEW World Championship. Double or Nothing will take place in Las Vegas on Sunday May 29. Other matches for the show have not been formally announced at this time.
