(1) JACK PERRY vs. KATSUYORI SHIBATA
Ring entrances for both aired. The bell rang 4 minutes into the hour. Excalibur said the arena is sold out and fans were still filing in. He plugged the PPV starting in an hour. They cut to a double-box break at 2:00 with Shibata in control. [c/db]
Shibata suplexed Perry on the ring apron. Perry made a comeback and chopped Shibata. He then climbed to teh top rope, but paused to play to the crowd. Shibata got up and met him up there. Perry went for a sunset bomb, but Shibata held on and gave Perry a modified huracanrana. Shibata went for a kick, but Perry blocked it and then applied a quick Snare Trap. Shibata upkicked to escape. Shibata threw round kicks to Perry’s chest. Perry fired back with a dropkick and then delivered a Tiger Driver for a near fall.
Shibata countered a running knee with a chop and then applied a sleeper. Perry powered out of it in the corner. Shibata choped Perry rapid-fire. Perry countered a sleeper with a leverage three count.
WINNER: Perry 9:00.
-Afterward, Perry asked into the camera where Samoa Joe was. Then he yelled for him. Action Andretti, Hoo, and Anthony Bowens stepped out onto the stage. Perry indicated he wanted to know where Samoa Joe was. Samoa Joe then joined them and they all headed to the ring. Joe saluted the crowd and they cheered. Taz said, “Jack, just leave; trust me.” Perry offered a handshake. Joe looked at it, then turned to leave. Perry turned him back around. Fans chanted, “You f–ed up!” Joe shoved Perry hard to the mat
(Keller’s Analysis: The match was pretty methodical, but intense and decent. Joe looks like he’s as big as he’s ever been. Unless it’s an illusion, that could really affect his match quality at his age and agility was always a strength of his.)

(2) QUEEN AMINATA & MINA SHIRAKAWA vs. SKYE BLUE & JULIA HART
The bell rang 24 minutes into the hour. Shirakawa shook her chest at Julia after rolling her up for a two count as a counter to a standing moonsault. They cut to a partial double-box break at 2:00. [c/pdb]
Shirakawa leaped off the top rope and landed a dropkick on Julia for a two count at 7:00. Aminata and Shirakawa both landed moves in the ring at the same time and both got near falls. When Shiraawa walked over to tag in Aminata, Julia yanked Animata to the floor. Blue then rolled up Shirakawa for a near fall. Blue then landed her Code Blue for the win.
WINNERS: Skye Blue & Julia Hart in 10:00.
(Keller’s Analysis: The match fell apart a bit late when they went into the obligatory series of spots and chaos, but it was fine otherwise.)
-Mick Foley interviewed the Bang Bang Gang. Juice Robinson spoke like he was a football coach, which he was dressed up as. Foley asked about the lack of rules in the match. Foley asked, “What if hypothetically I’m not down with that?” Austin Gunn laughed. White said, “If you ain’t down with that, we’ve got two words for you: Guns up!” [c]
-A video package hyped Will Ospreay vs. Jon Moxley, the PPV main event.
-They went to the announcers at ringside. Taz wasn’t ready to give his pick for the main event.
(3) THE BANG BANG GANG (Jay White & Ace Austin & Austin Gunn & Colten Gunn) vs. CLARK CONNORS & DAVID FINLAY & DANNY GARCIA & WHEELER YUTA (w/Marina Shafir)
Connors carried a keg on his shoulder down the stairs amongst fans. Then Garcia, Yuta, and Finlay entered, dressed as football players. They had corner soundbites with Connors, Finlay, Garcia, Yuta, and Shafir all doing NFL-style introductions. The bell rang 7 minutes into the hour. They started the match like an offensive line facing off against a defensive line as the ball was snapped. Fans chanted “F— you, Yuta!” early. Then they chanted “Green Bay sucks!” It seemed the announcers couldn’t make out the chant. As everyone brawled, Schiavone said it seemed like Tornado Rules. Excalibur said it’s not DQ. Schiavone wondered if they’d do instant replays. They did some spots resembling football handoffs before curring to a double-box break at 3:00. [c/db]
Ace Austin stood on thestage with a football. He charged , then leapfrogged Connors and the hit Garcia and then threw the football to Yuta and kicked him when he caught it. Austin entered the ring and spiked the football. He then flipped over the top rope onto Garcia at ringside.
Austin and Juice beat up Finlay in the ring. White then leaped off the top rope with a football in hand and flip dove onto a crowd waiting for him below. Austin gave the keg to Juice. Fans chanted “Keg! Keg! Keg!” at 10:00.
Austin shoved Connors off the top rope onto a BBQ grill.Colten and Austin gave Garcia their finisher. Yuta rolled up Colten for a two count. White then gave Yuta his Bladerunner for the win.
WINNERS: Bang Bang Gang in 12:00.
(Keller’s Analysis: Not sure a goofy, slapstick comedy match is the way to set the mood, but on the bright side enough fans were into the zany fun to keep the energy up.)
