Well, it’s Monday. Let your wrestling week begin. Monday Night Raw airs live on the USA Network as WWE builds to WrestleMania Backlash.

This week’s episode of Monday Night Raw will feature Cody Rhodes vs. The Miz in what is being promoted as Cody’s first Raw match in six years. In addition, Veer Mahaan will make his post-rebrand, in-ring debut against Rey Mysterio, and Sasha Banks & Naomi will defend their newly won WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship against Rhea Ripley & Liv Morgan.

Announced segments for this week’s show include:

  • Cody Rhodes vs. The Miz
  • Rey Mysterio vs. Veer Mahaan
  • Sasha Banks & Naomi vs. Rhea Ripley & Liv Morgan
  • Damian Priest vs. A.J. Styles
  • A VIP Lounge segment with MVP, Omos, and Bobby Lashley
  • A teased appearance by The Usos to try and unify the Tag Team Championships

Last week on Smackdown, Roman Reigns revealed that he was sending The Usos to Raw so that they can unify the tag titles like he did the world titles at WrestleMania. Reigns defeated Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania to win both the WWE Championship and WWE Universal Championship.

On the post-WrestleMania episode of Monday Night Raw last week, Cody Rhodes kicked off the show and gave a mission statement rooted in securing the WWE Championship, a world title that his father Dusty Rhodes never got his hands on. On that night, he was interrupted by Seth Rollins, who came out to welcome him to the company in a coy way. Rollins shook Cody’s hand and then walked away. Cody defeated Rollins in a surprise match at WrestleMania 38.
