[HOUR ONE]

-Joe Tessitore introduced the show as they showed an aerial view of Dallas, Tex. Then they cut to a pensive Cody Rhodes in his bus, then Sami Zayn deep in his own thoughts earlier in the empty arena, and then Jacob Fatu talking at the camera all psyched up. Then they showed Alexa Bliss arriving, Giulia and Kiana James arriving, and Zelina with Aleister Black arriving. Then a split screen of Jade Cargill and Jordynne Grace walking backstage. Tessitore noted they are on SyFy and will be next week also due to Olympic coverage.

-They went to Tessitore and Wade Barrett on camera. They discussed the Elimination Chamber qualifiers.

-Tiffany Stratton made her way out. She strutted around the ring smiling and then said, “Oh, Dallas! What time is it?” Fans yelled, “Tiffy Time!” She said she has a rookie year most wrestlers would dream of having. Regarding the Elimination Chamber, she said when she enters the ring, she doesn’t just hope to win, she expects to win. She said she feels the WWE Women’s Championship misses her.

Nix Jax and Lash Legend interrupted (and not a second too soon; glasses were shattering in my kitchen from her pitch). Tiffany asked why Nia is so obsessed with her. “I see you already got yourself a little replacement,” she said. Lash called her “bitter Betty” and said, “I am the upgrade.” She said they will win the tag team titles tonight and then Nia will qualify for the EC next week, and then they will both be locked in the Chamber and Jax will pin her faster than you can say Tiffy Time. The fans chanted “Tiffy Time!” Tiffany danced along. Jax said they can take care of this tonight. She asked Tiffany if she remembers what she’s capable of. “What, losing another title match?” Tiffany said.

Rhea Ripley and Iyo Sky made their entrance. Ripley said they are going to do what they do best and work together in the Chamber until they’re the last two standing. She said first they need to “beat the living crap out of you two” and retain their tag titles.

(1) RHEA RIPLEY & IYO SKY vs. NIA JAX & LASH LEGEND – WWE Women’s Tag Team Title match

Barrett called this “the hottest division in wrestling.” The bell rang 9 minutes into the hour. Sky hit Jax with a flurry of offense and dropped her to her knees and then landed a dropkick. She tagged in Ripley who landed a flying knee and scored a two count. Iyo tagged back in and climbed to the rope rope. Lash knocked her off balance. Jax then gave her a Samoan Drop fr a two count. They cut to a double-box break at 3:30. [c/db]

Back from the break Ripley and Lash both tagged in. They battled mid-ring. Jax tagged in and Ripley DDT’d her for a two count. Ripley powerbombed Jax off the second rope in the corner. Sky landed an Over the Moonsault for a near fall at 8:00. Lash shoved Ripley into Sky to break up the cover. Lash beat up Sky at ringside as fans chanted, “This is awesome!” She rammed Sky’s head into the announce desk. As all four continued to brawl, the ref called for the bell. Fans chanted, “Ref, you suck!”

WINNERS: No contest in 9:00.

-Lash and Jax set up a table at ringside. Ripley recovered and rolled off of the table and kicked Lash. Sky then knocked Jax off the ring apron and crossbody pressed her through the table. Lash speared Ripley through the time keeper’s area barricade. Everyone was down as fans chanted “Holy shit!”

-They cut Cathy Kelley interviewing Cody Rhodes outside his bus. She asked where his confidence comes that he’ll make it to WrestleMania in a WWE Title match. Cody said he could speak from the heart with conviction like last week or could “do the golden boy thing per our general manager Nick Aldis and control my emotions.” He said with all eyes on him and all the pressure that comes with it, he is two matches away from headlining WrestleMania. He said he is in Von Erich country and said he said while he says don’t bet against him, “definitely don’t bet against him here.”

-Carmelo Hayes greeted Matt Cardona and Apollo Crews. Crews said he’d like to be back in the title mix. He said he loves the open challenge thing. Cardona said they shouldn’t forget he’s a former U.S. Champ. He said he’s back for some gold. Hayes said the Open Challenge is open most weeks, but it’s closed this week. The camera followed Hayes as he walked away and he met Miz who claimed he is the locker room leader. He said he is zoning in on teaching a lesson in respect. “Hopefully you teach better than you wrestle,” he said. Cardona walked up to him and said “zone in” is two words, not one, contrary to Miz’s framing. Miz said it’s hyphened. Crews said it doesn’t work that way. Miz snapped at them. Cardona told Crews it is definitely two words and he said he wants the title. [c]

-They showed a Super Bowl parade with Seahawks showing off WWE Super Bowl title belts.

-A vignette aired with Aleister Black talking about what road Randy Orton would take if Cody won tonight. He said he’d see him soon. Zelina then talked about her match later with Giulia and Alexa Bliss later.

-Hayes made his ring entrance. He said he has earned his opportunity at WrestleMania, so he’s going to shoot for the main event. He said next week he will quality for the Chamber. He said when he shoots, “Melo don’t miss.” He said he made a promise he has to keep. He told Ilya Dragunov to step out now. Dragunov came out. Solo Sikoa and his MFTs walked out. He said Dragunov lost twice and he shot and missed, so he should get to the back of the line. He said he’s next.

Dragunov asked Solo if his family abandoned him last week. Solo told him to shut up and said he shouldn’t talk about his family. He said what happened to the Wyatt Sicks will happen to him. Dragunov said he and Hayes were willing to face them. Hayes said he planned to retain one title, but he’d be happy to leave with two, suggesting an impromptu tag team title match. Solo hoped onto the ring apron and said, “It did not have to be like this.” The all brawled, five-on-two. Barrett said that wasn’t smart. Crews and Cardona ran out and helped even the fight. Shinsuke Nakamura came out and finishing evening the odds. He kicked J.C. Mateo and then ducked a charging Talla Tonga.

G.M. Nick Aldis walked out and came up with an idea. He said they’d delay the U.S. Title match and instead give Texas a big ten-man tag match. Tessitore acted like a ten-man tag was an idea he hadn’t thought of. [c]

(2) MATT CARDONA & APOLLO CREWS & SHINSUKE NAKAMURA & CARMELO HAYES & ILJA DRAGUNOV vs. SOLO SIKO & THE MFTS (Talla Tonga & Tonga Loa & Tama Tonga & J.C. Mateo)

The bell rang 41 minutes into the hour. They cut to a break at 3:00. [c]

Dragunov hot-tagged in Hayes after the break and he hit a flurry of moves against Solo including a turning springboard clothesline. Chaos broke out. Talla ended up standing opposite of Hayes and Dragunov. Talla chokeslammed both of them at once. Cardona and Crews then went after Talla. Talla tried to chokeslam both of them, but Nakamura intervened. Crews flip dove over the top rope onto Talla at ringside. Mateo then battled Nakamura. Dragunov went for a suplex on Mateo, but Mateo blocked it. Dragunov landed an H-Bomb. Solo attacked Dragunov. Barrett asked if the referee gave up on any order. Hayes landed First 48 on Solo. He leaped off the top rope. Mateo shoved Hayes into a Solo Spike. Dragunov hit Solo with a Torpedo Moscow. Talla hit Hayes with his running Cut Throat elbow for the win.

WINNER: Solo & The MFTs in 12:00.

(Keller’s Analysis: There were tags for a while, and then chaos for an extended period. Ultimately, after non-stop action, this was meant to build a future match Tonga challenging Hayes.)

-As Solo and the MFTs celebrated, the lights went dark and then Wyatt Sicks images flashed on the screen.

-A clip aired of Charlotte and Alexa Bliss teaming to eliminate Jax, but then Charlotte eliminated Bliss. Barrett said it was supposedly accidental.

-Charlotte and Bliss were shown having a tense moment. Charlotte apologized. Bliss said Jax did it. Charlotte gave Bliss black roses and a framed signed picture of herself for Galentine’s Day. [c]

-A clip aired of WWE World on Apr. 16-20 featuring Rob Van Dam, Steve Austin, Kane, Road Dogg, Adam Pearce, and Nick Aldis. Sean Waltman was in the photo, but Tessitore did not mention him by name. He mentioned everyone else.

[HOUR TWO]

-Aldis told Damien Priest, who was with R-Truth, that he booked him in a match with Hayes and Trick Williams next week and the winner gets a spot in the Elimination Chamber. Kit Wilson barged in and said he has chose to weaponize his words instead of his fists with a poem. He talked about real men expressing feelings. He told Priest and Truth they lack emotional intelligence. Truth replied with a poem of his own joking about what Oba Femi did to him last week. He made a joke about Wilson losing his manhood and saying he thinks he sees a camel toe. Priest and Aldis laughed,

-Barrett said that was immature as Bliss made her entrance with Charlotte. Zelina Vega then made her entrance along with Black.

(3) ALEXA BLISS  (w/Charlotte) vs. ZELINA VEGA vs. GIULIA (w/Kiana James) – Women’s Elimination Chamber qualifier

The bell rang 7 minutes into the hour. Bliss flipped off the ring apron onto Giulia. Zelina landed a Meteora on Bliss on the floor. They cut to a break at 3:00. [c]

Bliss rallied and scored two counts against both opponents one after another. Giulia landed a Northern Lights bomb on Bliss, but Zelina broke up the cover at 10:00. Zelina knocked James off the ring apron to ringside with a forearm and then threw Giulia to the floor. Bliss then caught a celebrating Zelina with a Sister Abigail for the win.

WINNER: Alexa Bliss in 10:00.

-Stratton was walking backstage when she crossed paths with Grace. Tiffany said she wouldn’t mind if she won tonight. Grace said if she wins, she wouldn’t mind seeing her at WrestleMania. Alba Fyre pushed Chelsea Green in a wheelchair. Green demanded an apology for what she did to her. Tiffany said all she had to do was step up and ask for an apology, then giggled and said she can’t.

(Keller’s Analysis: Tiffany is insufferable. My gosh, who is booking her this way and why do they hate her?)

-Tessitore plugged the main event. [c]

-A sponsored video package aired on Cody and Jacob Fatu.

-Backstage, Sami Zayn told Rey Fenix that he should teach Trick Williams a lesson for talking trash. He said Trick has a ton of talent, but he needs someone to teach him a lesson. Sami said last week he “wasn’t all there.” He said it’s been hard, but tonight is a new chance to punch a new ticket to the Elimination Chamber and then WrestleMania. He thanked Fenix for his words of encouragement and he’s taking that hope to the ring tonight.

-During Trick’s entrance, Tessitore said it sounded like a different Sami in the previous segment. He took some shots at Sami for moping around after not getting the job done, but then begging for another opportunity. “You make me sick,” he said. He told Sami he has a qualifying match against some “big dogs.” He said they’ll eat his ass alive if he’s moping about. He said next week he’ll put on his mink coat and take off his lemon pepper steppers and do whatever it takes to qualify for the Chamber. He said when people go to the zoo, they don’t want to see a squirrel like Fenix do a flip, they want to see a lion like him get up. He was interrupted by Fenix’s entrance theme.

(4) TRICK WILLIAMS vs. REY FENIX

The bell rang 37 minutes into the hour. Trick overpowered Fenix a minute in and chopped him in the corner. Fenix landed a springboard missile dropkick. Fenix admired his own work for a while. Trick recovered and landed a spin wheel kick to his chin. Trick methodically worked over Fenix for a while and eventually scored a two count at 4:00. They cut to a break. [c]

Fenix rallied with a series of flashy kicks. Tessitore noted he missed with Adios Kick, but it actually looked solid. He scored a two count at 9:00. Fenix then leaped off the top rope with a high crossbody press and a frog splash for a near fall. Fenix thwarted Trick’s comeback and landed a double stomp to Trick’s back for a two count.

Trick avoided a moonsault and landed a Trick Shot for the win. Fans celebrated and chanted, “Whoo That Trick!”

WINNER: Trick in 12:00.

(Keller’s Analysis: Good match. Fenix got in some flashy moves, but also took great bumps that helped Trick look impressive. Fans chanting to his song after he wins means they need to change his music or give up on him being a heel. Or they just don’t care because they don’t value parity from one context to another with how wrestlers are framed.)

-Backstage, Sky and Ripley were talking about their match earlier and how it went. Ripley said they’ll get them back, but she needs to shift her focus to her EC qualifier. Giulia and James walked up. Giulia was fuming. They bickered. Sky suggested she’ll take the U.S. Titel from Giulia. Giula made guttural noises and had to be restrained by James. Jade Cargill walked past Ripley and Sky and smiled.

-They went to Tessitore and Barrett at ringside. They hyped Jade vs. Grace.

-A video feature aired on Grave showing her power training and NXT success. She said every impossibility she has overcome has led to this moment with Jade. [c]

-A vignette aired with Jacob Fatu hyping his goal to headline WrestleMania in a WWE Title match.

[HOUR THREE]

(5) JADE CARGILL vs. JORDYNN GRACE – Women’s Title match

After the entrances of each wrestler, Liv Morgan’s music played. Liv came out with Raquel Rodriguez and Dominik Mysterio. Dom was booed loudly. Liv said it’s a big deal that Jade has reached 100 days as champion. Dom said he’s a “super amazing double champion.” He said he has arranged a specail Valentine’s Day for them. Two guys brought out a tall table and flowers for liv, Dom, and Raquel. Liv said she’s going to watch her potential WrestleMania opponents tear each other apart. “Is this for real?” asked Tessitore.

The bell rang 4 minutes into the hour. Grace and Cargill locked up. Fans sang, “Dirty, Dirty Dom!” Grace applied an early sleeper. Jade leaped backward, but Grace held on.

Grace powerslammed Jade for a two count at 10:00 for a near fall. Grace regrouped. They went forehead-to-forehead. Jade avoided Grace’s Beast Mode and landed a Pump Kick and a single-arm Jaded for the win. She continued to favor her right elbow and wouldn’t let the ref lift her arm. Barrett said that has to be the most difficult match of her career.

WINNER: Cargill in 10:00 to retain the Women’s Title.

-Afterward, Jade told Liv that if she challenges her at WrestleMania, that will be her ass.

-Backstage, Alex Shelley, Chris Sabin, Axiom, and Nathan Fraser were hanging out laughing at Johnny Gargano fretting over his situation with Candice LeRae. Gargano said he lost his tag title and no friends. “I have nothing left,” he said. LeRae took exception. “I’m right here,” she said. She rolled him away on the crate. Solo and his crew walked past Sabin, Shelly, Fraser, and Axiom and told them to get in line. Then Solo noticed a drawing of him taped to a door with a lantern in his mouth. He ripped it off the door and crumpled it angrily. [c]

-A vignette aired on Oba Femi. He said people fear change and they tend to cling to idols and false prophets. “What they don’t understand is that change is inevitable; if you don’t adapt, you perish.” he said. “Change is here. So you will hear my drums and see my strut and know the deed is done because change has sent Oba Femi.”

(Keller’s Analysis: That was tremendous.)

-Aldis was chatting with Oba about singing with Femi. Wilson barged in. Aldis asked what he wanted. Wilson handed him a book with a poem about Femi. Aldis read the poem that said Femi is no match for a real man like Wilson and that Femi is a sad little clown. Femi said if that’s how he feels, they can meet next week. Wilson yelled, “Toxic!” And then he ran off.

-Tessitore and Barrett plugged next week’s Smackdown.

-Kelley interviewed Drew McIntyre backstage. Drew called L.A. Knight “a catch-phrase merchant” and referred to Randy as “Randy ‘Can’t Win the Big One’ Orton.” He vowed that Cody would get nowhere near his title at WrestleMania. He cracked himself up as he said Jacob has the best chance in the Chamber since he’s spent so much time behind bars. When Drew mentioned Sami, Sami showed up and told him to say it to his face. Drew told Sami that when he told him a small part of him wanted him to win, a big part of him wants him to win. He said Sami paid his dues and has earned it and he had a feeling he was going to win the big one. He wished him luck as Sami looked on with suspicion.

-Sami made his entrance. [c]
