“The Drifter” Elias Samson is out indefinitely with a fractured left ankle, WWE announced Monday.
Samson suffered the injury in a match against Andrade “Cien” Almas at the NXT show on Friday, June 3 in Nashville.
WWE said on their website that Samson “will be put in a cast and crutches” to help him make a full recovery.
WWE made it sound like surgery will not be required. His return will depend on how well the ankle heals after being immobilized in the cast.
Isn’t this the second person to get injured wrestling this Andrade guy? Is he a male version Eva Marie? Doesn’t bode well for his future if he’s not safe to work with.
