Official Details on NXT star heading to EVOLVE

Update: WWNLive has released official details on Sami Zayn’s involvement in this weekend’s EVOLVE Tour.

Zayn is scheduled for in-ring appearances on both Saturday and Sunday shows in New York. However, the appearances will not air on the Internet PPV broadcasts. “It will be a special moment for fans in Queens and Deer Park. What will Zayn do? Who will he end up in the ring with?” WWNLive promoted.

Monday Update: WWE NXT star Sami Zayn (the former El Generico) is heading to this weekend’s EVOLVE shows in New York, WWNLive announced Monday.

Zayn, who has been injured for the past several months, is advertised for appearances on Saturday and Sunday. PWTorch has learned he will not be wrestling.

EVOLVE 49 – Oct. 17 in Queens, N.Y.

– EVOLVE Title #1 contender match: Drew Gulak vs. Trevor Lee.

– Former UFC fighter Matthew Riddle vs. Jonathan Gresham.

– EVOLVE champion Timothy Thatcher & T.J. Perkins vs. RPG Vice (Trent Baretta & Rocky Romero).

– Anthony Nese (w/So Cal Val) vs. Andrew Everett vs. Matt Cage vs. Peter Kass in a Freestyle match.

– Willie Mack vs. Tracy Williams.

EVOLVE 50 – Oct. 18 in Deer Park, N.Y.

– EVOLVE Title match: Timothy Thatcher vs. Gulak-Lee winner at E49.

– Gulak-Lee loser vs. Willie Mack.

– UFC’er Matthew Riddle vs. Chris Dickinson.

– RPG Vice (Trent Baretta & Rocky Romero) vs. Premier Athlete Brand (Anthony Nese & Caleb Konely w/So Cal Val).
