SPOTLIGHTED PODCAST ALERT (YOUR ARTICLE BEGINS A FEW INCHES DOWN)...

Former WWE announcer Jim Ross put a rumor to rest about being part of the TNA broadcast team when Impact debuts on Pop TV in January 2016.

“(Impact Wrestling) has a good announce team & don’t need me. So, no,” Ross replied to a Twitter question about whether he will call TNA’s premiere episode on Pop.

Ross has noted in past blogs at jrsbarbq.com that he would consider calling wrestling again on a limited schedule, but it has to be the right opportunity.
