WWE Smackdown TV Ratings 2015

December 3: Thursday’s show scored a 1.49 rating, improving on last week’s 1.15 rating on Thanksgiving.

The previous low for a non-holiday episode this year was a 1.42 rating on September 3.

– Smackdown drew 2.044 million viewers, regaining about 400,000 viewers from Thanksgiving. However, it was the least-watched non-holiday episode since Sept. 10.

Overall this fall TV season, Smackdown has averaged 2.094 million viewers. Through the same period last year on less-desirable Friday nights, Smackdown averaged 2.619 million viewers. This year’s season is down 20 percent.

– In this week’s key demographics, Smackdown regained one-tenth of a rating in males 18-49, nearly three-tenths of a rating in males 18-34, and one-tenth in adults 18-49.

All of the demos were in the normal range this Fall TV season. So, it appears Smackdown was unable to get back a bigger chunk of the audience because of NFL competition appealing to viewers outside of the 18-49 window.
