CZW “Cage of Death” Results

This past Saturday, Combat Zone Wrestling (CZW) hosted one of the largest independent pro wrestling events of the year with approximately 1,400 in attendance and over 400 toys donated to “Toys for Tots.”

(1) Desmond Xavier beat Chip Day, Eddie Smooth, Conor Claxton, Lucky 13, Brittany Blake, and Poseidon for a spot at Best of the Best.

(2) CZW Wired Title: Lio Rush pinned Joey Janela to win the Wired Title.

(3) The Amazing Gulaks beat the Beaver Boys.

(4) Greg Excellent pinned Tony Nese with a tiger driver.

(5) George Gatton pinned D.J. Hyde

(6) CZW Tag Titles: TV Ready (BLK Jeez & Pepper Parks w/Cherry Bomb) beat Team Tremendous (Dan Barry & substitute member Sozio).

(7) Joe Gacy made Tim Donst say “I Quit.”

(8) Danny Havoc pinned Ricky Shane Page in an Ultraviolent Death Match.

(9) Sami Callihan beat David Starr via stretch muffler when Starr went unconscious.

(10) Matt Tremont retained the CZW Title in the Cage of Death by defeating A.R. Fox, Masada, and Devon Moore after putting Fox through a glass table on a super sidewalk slam.

– CZW announced “Team CZW vs. Team Smash” at Smash Wrestling on Saturday, January 16 at the Franklin Horner Community Centre in Toronto, Ont., Canada.

– On February 13, CZW returns with a huge anniversary event as part of a double-header with WSU at the Flyers Skate Zone in Voorhees.

– Dojo Wars begins again with Wednesday events on December 16 at the CZW Academy in Blackwood, N.J. Tickets are $5.

– On Friday (Dec. 18), the CZW Academy hosts a Billy Gunn seminar. The event is free to students and wrestlers of any promotion. Sign up at djhyde@czwrestling.com.
