Update: WWE released a “medical update” on their website offering a vague timeline for Roman Reigns’s recovery from the beat down on Raw.

“Reigns will continue to undergo observation as he recuperates but a timetable for his return to action has not yet been discussed,” Dr. Chris Amann was quoted for the storyline.

WWE also released another photo of Reigns wearing a nose guard and looking somewhat despondent.

February 23 Update

WWE is playing up an injury to Roman Reigns resulting from his show-ending fight with Triple H on Raw.

WWE’s website says Reigns has a “shattered nose” and underwent surgery Tuesday in Tampa, Florida.

During Hunter’s beat down on Raw, WWE went for a rare blood element trying to intensify the feud heading into WrestleMania. After Raw, Reigns tweeted a photo of himself in the locker room with dried “blood” covering his hands and a towel.

On Tuesday afternoon, Reigns posted a photo of his nose covered by a large bandage. Reigns vowed to return the beating on Hunter.
