Int’l tag team TMDK officially signs with WWE after finishing NOAH run

Mar. 25 Update: WWE officially announced the signings of top international tag team Michael Nicholls (Mikey Nicholls) and Shane Veryzer (Shane Haste).

WWE named them by their international tag team name of TMDK (The Mighty Don’t Kneel). The duo is scheduled to report to WWE’s Performance Center “in early April to begin training as part of a new class of recruits.”

TMDK will start off on the NXT brand to add to the loaded tag division.

Top international tag team TMDK (Mikey Nicholls & Shane Haste) wrapped up their NOAH run Thursday in Tokyo, Japan. Now they head to WWE’s NXT brand.

Nicholls & Haste concluded their “Departure to the World” Tour by defeating Naomichi Marufuji & Mitsuhiro Kitamiya in the semi-main event of Thursday’s show.

Nicholls & Haste closed with a promo thanking the NOAH fans for their support and promoted their next journey “to the world.”

The duo from Australia is the latest international signing for WWE. The company is looking to stockpile wrestlers from various backgrounds to build a “global” NXT roster appealing to WWE Network subscribers across the world.
