4/12 TNA Impact Viewers – how did the first week fare without a replay?

April 12: This week’s one airing of TNA Impact on Tuesday night drew 286,000 viewers in the 9:00 p.m. EST timeslot.

Last week’s airing in the timeslot drew 272,000 viewers, then Impact drew 66,000 replay viewers for a combined audience of 338,000 viewers.

This week’s replay timeslot went to an acquired movie, “The Ghost Writer,” which drew 57,000 viewers (vs. 66k last week for Impact).

After Pop TV bumped the Tuesday night replay, it will be interesting to see if DVR viewership moves to make up for the loss of replay viewership.

Recent 9:00 p.m. EST timeslot trend 

  • March 15: 307,000 viewers
  • March 22: 331,000 viewers
  • March 29: 312,000 viewers
  • April 5: 272,000 viewers
  • April 12: 286,000 viewers with only one viewing available

– DEMOGRAPHICS: This week’s Impact drew a median age viewer of 53.7 years-old.

The demos were nearly identical to last week. Impact drew 100,000 adult 18-49 viewers versus 98,000 last week, and the audience split was the same at 55 percent m18-49 vs. 45 percent f18-49.

The overall break down of everyone watching was 60 percent males and 40 percent females.
