– WWE’s mid-week social media update included a teaser of Finn Balor heading to Raw after losing the NXT Title to Samoa Joe. Last week, new social media correspondent Cathy Kelley fanned the flames of speculation about Conor McGregor heading to WWE after “retiring” from UFC. This week, it’s fanning the flames of speculation on when Balor will appear on the main WWE roster. (Video Update)

– Despite poor TV ratings for “American Grit” through two weeks, John Cena thinks the new series on Fox will open more doors for mainstream WWE projects.

“I hope it brings more and better business opportunities, I hope it brings more brand awareness, I hope we can do more and I hope it establishes a better relationship with Fox. There are just so many things I can talk about with this show and I can see how it could be used as a vehicle, but right now I just want a bunch of folks to watch and we’ll see where it goes,” Cena told Donald Wood of Ring Rust Radio in a promotional interview.

John Cena headlines WWE’s return to the Dunkin’ Donuts Center in Providence, R.I. for Raw TV on July 18. The Providence Journal listed Cena along with Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose, Kevin Owens, and A.J. Styles as the top stars scheduled.

– Suspension Watch: Konnor has not commented publicly since his Wellness Policy violation was announced on April 16. Adam Rose checked in on Twitter Wednesday with re-tweets of Social Outcasts members, but he has not followed up on going public with details of why he thinks he was wronged by his suspension.

Ricky Knight, the father of WWE star Paige, was interviewed by BBC Radio talking about his promotion, Paige’s WWE run, and upcoming big show in May featuring Scott Hall and X-Pac.

– The bank heist movie “Marauders” starring Bruce Willis, Dave Bautista, and other big names is scheduled for theatrical release later this summer. The director of the movie teased more to follow, including the date announcement. The movie was filmed in Cincinnati last year. (WCPO Report)

Zack Sabre, Jr. is headed to Chikara. The international star will be part of Chikara’s U.K. tour when he faces Ophidian one month from now on May 27 in Birmingham, England.

CWElogo2016– The CWE promotion in Canada is set to launch a new TV series called CWE Adrenaline in the existing TV timeslots throughout Canada. The show broadcasts on Bell ExpressVu Channel 592, MTS in Manitoba, and other regions. Starting next Tuesday, the new show will air across Saskatchewan as part of a new deal with Access Communications.
