– Sami Zayn beat 2015 MITB winner Sheamus in the first qualifying match on May 23 Raw.
– Cesaro beat IC champion The Miz in a non-title qualifying match.
– Chris Jericho beat Apollo Crews in the third qualifying match.
– Dean Ambrose beat Dolph Ziggler in the fourth qualifying match.
– Kevin Owens beat A.J. Styles in the main event of Raw.
– Alberto Del Rio beat Zack Ryder in the sixth qualifying match on May 26 Smackdown.
