WWE Smackdown Live Preview 8/2
WWE returns to Nashville on Tuesday night for the second official Smackdown Live episode.
The top items advertised are the in-ring debut of NXT tag team American Alpha (Jason Jordan & Chad Gable) and A.J. Styles “sending a message” to John Cena.
WWE will also be following up on Randy Orton “crossing over to Raw” to drop Brock Lesnar with an RKO to close Monday’s Raw episode.
Also advertised for Smackdown is WWE champion Dean Ambrose, who now has a title match against Dolph Ziggler at Summerslam.
Additional Smackdown brand roster members advertised include IC champion The Miz (w/Maryse), Bray Wyatt, The Usos, Natalya, and Becky Lynch. Plus, authority figures Shane McMahon and Daniel Bryan are advertised.
From the Raw brand, WWE is advertising Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns. Both are scheduled for a bonus main event of Ambrose & Cena & Reigns vs. Rollins & Styles & Wyatt in a six-man tag match.
