WWE Studios and Tristar will produce a Vincent K. McMahon biopic. With WWE involved, it may not be a controversial “tell all” treading in truly controversial matters, but it’ll be fascinating to see how Vince McMahon wants the story of his life told, or how those making the movie will walk a tightrope if he’s only involved at arm’s length.
IMDb’s Gary Collinson reports: “The script by Craig A. Williams has been generating interest since last year, although studios were reluctant to commit as it had not received the blessing of WWE or Vince McMahon. However, producer Andrew Lazar (American Sniper) secured McMahon’s life rights in recent weeks, leading TriStar to make its move to snap up the project.”
