RED, WHITE, & BLUE.”

California certainly has had an exciting few days in professional wrestling. Payback may not have been the best PPV of all time, but it did deliver some entertaining bouts, and last night’s Raw closed with one of the better triple-threat matches in quite some time. Tonight in Fresno, we’ll get to see a rematch for the United States Championship between “The Ayatollah of Rocknrolla” and “the New Face of America.” (One of those nicknames is significantly better than the other.) Jericho shocked the world when he was able to make his former bestie tap-out on Sunday, especially considering his upcoming Fozzie tour schedule. However, K.O. isn’t wasting any time on asking for his automatic rematch, and he looks to recapture the gold he took from Y2J at Wrestlemania. If he does, that would make Owens a two-time U.S. Champion, two-time Intercontinental Champion, and a Universal Champion. All in two years. #WINowensWIN

“DON’T HINDER THE JINDER”

You know who hasn’t had an exciting few days of professional wrestling? Randal Keith Orton. For weeks he’s had to prepare for whatever “horrors” Bray Wyatt would have for him in their final match at Payback while also fighting off Bray’s big dog Erick Rowan. Then, of course, there is Jinder Mahal, who stole Orton’s WWE Championship and used it as a weapon to knock him unconscious. Jinder continues to build up massive momentum for his championship opportunity at Backlash. If Orton continues to underestimate Mahal, we could be in store for an upset that would rock the wrestling fan-base into MAYHEM. However, now that Orton no longer has to worry about the “Eater of Worlds” and his lackeys harassing him, he can fully focus on the Jinder and the Singh Brothers.

“THE N.W.O.”

The New Women’s Order. (GET IT? HAHAHAHA.) Last week Natalya, Carmella, and Tamina refused to get stepped over by SD Live’s newest member of the women’s division, Queen Charlotte, and teamed up to lay a beatdown on the four-time champ during her title match with Naomi. (Naomi received a beating as well.) James Ellsworth was also there, doing nothing, contributing nothing, killing professional wrestling. Tonight Charlotte and Naomi can exact some revenge as they team-up to battle Natty and Carm in a tag team match PLAYA. How does Becky Lynch feel about all this drama inside the blue brand? Well, she’s been campaigning for a match against the aforementioned Ellsworth, so I guess she’s still on the light side of the force.

BUT… LIKE…”

-You’re newest tag-team #1 contenders are Tyler Breeze & Fandango. As excited as this makes me, they’ll need to start convincing us that they’re legit contenders for those superkicking Samoans.

-The tensions continue to rise between Dolph Ziggler and Shinsuke Nakamura. Ziggy will probably be Nak’s main roster debut opponent at Backlash. That is if he doesn’t get himself knee’d in the face before then.

-Baron Corbin will not be seen for a week due to his suspension for pushing an official during his attack on Sami Zayn. This gives Zayn a week to think of a way he can stack up next to the Lone Wolf.

-The Phenomenal One will most likely be on commentary tonight for the U.S. Title rematch considering he’s technically the #1 contender for it. Styles beat Corbin and Zayn to earn that opportunity.

-205 Live has all of there matches announced! TJP will be facing Lince Dorado, Mustafa Ali will finally get his hands on Drew Gulak, and Noam Dar and Rich Swann can FINALLY BURY this Alicciiiiaaaaaaa Fooxxxxxxxxxxx nonsense.

Fresno’s in for an exciting event. Will you be tuning in?
