NJPW DOMINION PPV HOLT REPORT
JUNE 11, 2017
OSAKA, JAPAN
AIRED LIVE ON NJPWWORLD.COM
REPORT BY TOM LEE (@tom_janbari), PWTORCH CORRESPONDENT & VIP MEMBER

I attended Dominion at Osakajo Hall today, I work for a radio station here in Osaka and managed to score tickets on the 2nd floor in a box seat.

The crowd was about 60 percent pro-Los Ingobernables Japan, maybe 20 percent pro-Bullet Club and Kenny, and then the rest were a mix of Minoru Suzuki, Chaos, and other sorts.

I expected due to the number of LiJ tshirts and Mercy in the crowd that Naito would be way over, but that wasn’t the case and the crowd was really behind Tanahashi.

As with the Naito vs. Tanahashi match, I expected the crowd to be behind Kenny more than they were. As the match progressed the Kenny chants grew stronger, and there were literally people crying at about the 45-50 minute mark. At 50 minutes a lot of people around me started to talk about it being a time limit draw result.

Everyone went home happy. This was my first NJPW event in Osaka, (I have been in Tokyo), but the thing that surprised me the most was when people were shouting Kenny or Okada, I could hear people saying, “I wish they would watch the match quietly.”
