SPOTLIGHTED PODCAST ALERT (YOUR ARTICLE BEGINS A FEW INCHES DOWN)...

-Brock Lesnar vs. Jinder Mahal is scheduled for Survivor Series, reports the Wrestling Observer. It is a battle of the top champions of each brand, but neither title will be on the line. Plans can change and this hasn’t been officially announced. Survivor Series last year, the first such event after the second brand split,  was built as the only time Raw and Smackdown wrestlers faced each other. It’s expected the card will be rounded out with other Raw vs. Smackdown matches.

-C.M. Punk’s trainer Duke Roufus posted on Twitter that Punk is training for his next fight. He wrote: “Back in #PunkCamp with my man @cmpunk #cmpunk working hard & getting better every day. Working on his next Fight.” MORE AT MMATORCH

-Aron Stevens, a/k/a Damien Sandow said he isn’t ruling out a possible return to WWE some day, but noted that he will make news soon in others ways. “I’ve been quiet for a while, but that is about to change,” he said in a brief Twitter Q&A.
