  • Nia Jax is backstage, and she may return tonight.
  • Will all the current champions hold onto their belts until Survivor Series?
  • Can Kane be stopped? (The answer is yes because he old AF.)

“UNDER SIEGE”

General Manager Kurt Angle has had quite an up-and-down week. He triumphed with The Shield at TLC after replacing Roman Reigns, but than had his entire roster utterly destroyed by an invading Smackdown army. Kurt was just about to reveal his five-man team for Survivor Series when Shane McMahon showed up and declared that Raw was “UNDER SIEGE.” (A very underrated Steven Seagal movie.) Raw had an opportunity to respond the next night on SD, but decided instead to lick their wounds and plan an attack accordingly.

The biggest story to come from this is that Kurt Angle now sees the threat that team blue has become, and the tactics they will take to prove brand supremacy. Does this mean that he straps on the boots for the second time in a month? Most likely yes, but who will join his team? Expect Angle to at least announce some of his team this evening.

FEAR NOT THE MAN”

One superstar who avoided a beatdown last week was Universal Champion Brock Lesnar. He and Paul Heyman instead let the WWE Champion Jinder Mahal know exactly what they think of him: NOTHING. Jinder is merely a “paper champion.” A man who happened to be in the right place at the right time, and at Survivor Series it isn’t about brand vs. brand, it’s about a fake prince against the Beast Incarnate. I for one am ready for the Maharaja to get sent to Suplex City. As for tonight, Brock will not be in attendance in Baltimore, but I wouldn’t be surprised if his segment last week is replayed.

“TEAM ALICCCCIIIIAAAAAAAAAAAAAA FOXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX”

In order to determine a captain for the Raw women’s team Sasha Banks, Bayley, and Alicia Fox (sure) clashed in triple-threat action last week in Wisconsin. Somehow, Alicia was able to score an upset victory over two former champions, and will now be the leader of the division’s Survivor Series squad. Considering that Becky Lynch is the captain of team SD, it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out which team is going over in that matchup.

Meanwhile Bayley and Sasha’s relationship continues to be messy, and it wouldn’t be surprising if that were a subplot on November 19th. Asuka decimated the now released Emma, but will she be on team Raw? Most likely not, especially with Nia Jax slated to return tonight.

“CAN WE COME TOGETHER?”

-Tag Champs Seth Rollins & Dean Ambrose were key targets in the SD invasion. Noticeably absent from team Blue were their opponents for Survivor Series the Usos. As for their beef with Miz? It seems that may be squashed considering they’ve beaten him two nights in a row.

-The Miz is already cutting some heated promos on United States Champion Baron Corbin ahead of their showdown, but can both of these mid-carders hold onto their respective titles until then? According to WWE.COM, that may be a key storyline going forward.

-Roman Reigns and Bray Wyatt are still out sick, but don’t be surprised if the Big Dawg is added to Angle’s Squad. Will Samoa Joe be returning as well? What of Sheamus and Cesaro? Will they be competing in a tag-team elimination match, or evening out the playing field for the main event?

-Kane defeated Finn Balor with ease last week. Balor had just come off a fantastic showing at TLC against A.J. Styles, and Kane… well… didn’t. But he did murder Braun Strowman with a garbage truck. If there’s one thing we know about Strowman is that he’ll be back…and he’ll be ANGRY. As for Balor, hopefully he gets added to team Red, but they keep fumbling his momentum with insanely idiotic booking.

SO MANY QUESTIONS. FIND OUT THE ANSWERS TONIGHT.
