SPOTLIGHTED PODCAST ALERT (YOUR ARTICLE BEGINS A FEW INCHES DOWN)...

-The flu does seem to be going around WWE’s locker room. Braun Strowman left the Raw live event tour last week early due to suffering from the flu, and Enzo missed Raw due to the flu. Enzo posted a video of him leaving the emergency room to go to Raw, but ultimately he wasn’t allowed to wrestle because of his illness. Enzo wrote on Instagram: “I apologize to the fans who won’t get to see a #G tonight in #Miami … I did everything I could from Toronto to Miami… From negative weather, through customs, to opting out on Diddy’s nye party in Miami, 10 hrs in a hospital, I did everything in my power to make sure I would be in that ring tonight to whoop Cedric Alexander’s hind-end … Ultimately: it was outta my hands. And I got the best freakin hands,” Amore wrote on Instagram.”

-Karl Anderson posted a picture of himself with Luke Gallows and Finn Balor leaving the arena last night with a vehicle with a “2 Sweet” personalized license plate. He wrote: “Sometimes you gotta be patient, my friends. Here we go!”

-Braun Strowman was nervous about the garbage truck angle last fall on Raw. “That was actually terrifying,” he said in an interview with Uproxx. “I never thought to myself I was claustrophobic or anything, but being in the back of that and knowing I literally had split seconds to per se get out of the way of the compactor from being crushed, it was a little nerve-wracking. All these crazy stunts and stuff that I do, the boss pitches a lot of them to me and I don’t really worry that much, because I know he would never ask me to do anything that he wouldn’t do himself. At the end of the day I feel comfortable doing it, because we have an unbelievable special effects team and stunt crew on hand and stuff like that, and safety is the first and foremost thought in their mind when we’re going through all this stuff. So at the end of the day I feel safe doing it, but it’s still a little nerve-wracking being in the back of a garbage truck with the potential of being crushed.” Read more highlights at www.PWPodcasts.com.
