SPOTLIGHTED PODCAST ALERT (YOUR ARTICLE BEGINS A FEW INCHES DOWN)...

-MMAFigthing’s Dave Meltzer reports that The Rock is out as a potential partner for Ronda Rousey at WrestleMania, and 49 year old Kurt Angle is the designated partner, playing on their kinship as former Olympians. “The WWE’s storylines earlier this week built this match which has been confirmed by those within the industry. It will likely be announced officially over the next few weeks.” Rousey has been training with Brian Kendrick in Los Angeles, Calif. and the Performance Center in Orlando, Fla. with various people including Natalya.

WWE is advertising Brock Lesnar “returning home to Minneapolis” on March 9 to face The Miz in an Intercontinental Title match. Also advertised are Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, Alexa Bliss, Sheamus & Cesaro, Braun Strowman, Finn Balor, and Sasha Banks.

-Rusev took to Twitter to complain about John Cena getting a match against A.J. Styles and being added to the Fastlane main event WWE Title match whereas “I can’t even get a match on Smackdown, Land of Opportunity,” he wrote.
