WWE Smackdown Rating: Viewership for USA Network’s Tuesday powerhouse stay at record low levels, but finish near top among Tuesday competition

The Oct. 9 episode of WWE Smackdown on USA Network last night drew a 1.53 rating, up slightly from the 1.52 rating last week, but the second lowest of the year and won from the 1.68 average for 2018 and well down from the 1.74 average through this week a year ago.

One year ago this week Smackdown drew a 1.75 rating and two years ago a 1.72 rating.

Nevertheless, Smackdown finished no. 2 among all cable shows in the key 18-49 demo with a 0.7 rating according to the TVByTheNumbers chart, behind only the MLB Division Series game on TBS which drew nearly triple the demo rating at 1.9.

Smackdown drew 2.135 million viewers, less than one third of the total viewers for the MLB game which was 7.147 million. Four news/politics shows on Fox News and MSNBC drew more viewership also, but scored lower ratings in the adult 18-49 demo.
