SPOTLIGHTED PODCAST ALERT (YOUR ARTICLE BEGINS A FEW INCHES DOWN)...

Impact Wrestling heads into Sunday’s Bound for Glory PPV with a rough stretch of ratings viewership numbers. Last week Impact Wrestling on Pop TV drew 190,000, down from the viewership for the Oct. 5, 2017 edition a year earlier of 251,000.

The 190,000 viewership last week was down from 222,000 the week before, 229,000 two weeks ago, and 258,000 three weeks ago. The viewership is down over 25 percent compared to four weeks ago.

There’s a risk of a further drop in viewership this week. Last week’s show went up against MLB playoffs and a stronger than usual NFL game last week on Fox, and it doesn’t get any better this week as the Philadelphia Eagles vs. New York Giants game takes place – two major markets in division rivalry.

The key demographic ratings are no better. According to PWTorch’s TV industry source with access to detailed breakdowns of demographics, Impact was down 54,000 male viewers in the 18-49 key demo last week, down from 68,000 three weeks earlier. That’s a drop-off of 20 percent. Female viewers have held more steady, with 17,000 last week, the same as three weeks ago, and up from the 13,000 the two weeks in between.
