I estimated a crowd of 4,500 in attendance. PNC Arena has a capacity of 17,000 for professional wrestling.
(1) The New Day (Big E & Kofi Kingston) defeated The Bar to retain the Smackdown Tag Team Championship.
(2) Aiden defeated Tye Dillinger.
(3) Lana & Asuka defeated The IIconics.
(4) Anderson & Gallows defeated Sanity (Eric Young & Alexander Wolfe).
(5) Rusev (w/Lana) defeated Shelton Benjamin
(6) Becky Lynch defeated Naomi to retain the Smackdown Women’s Championship.
Intermission
(7) Carmella (w/R-Truth) defeated Zelina Vega.
(8) Shinsuke Nakamura defeated Jeff Hardy to retain the U.S. Championship.
(9) A.J. Styles defeated Samoa Joe in a no-disqualification match to retain the WWE Championship.

Final Thoughts: Overall, it was an above-average house show in terms of match quality. A.J. Styles and Samoa Joe tore the house down with their No DQ match. Also, it was quite refreshing to see three women’s matches on the show. My only complaint with tonight’s show was the opening contest between The New Day and The Bar. This past August my girlfriend and I attended a house show in Greenville, N.C. and The New Day and The Bar worked an almost identical match tonight as they did in August. Despite that, I always have a great time at WWE live events and tonight was no different.
