HITS

War Raiders vs. Undisputed Era (NXT Tag Team Championship Match): This match was phenomenal. It was reminiscent of old NWA matches from back in the day between the Road Warriors and the Four Horsemen. The War Raiders played the part of the Road Warriors as they relied on their power for most of the match, but still pulled off moves that were unbelievable for persons of their size. The UE were in the role of the Horsemen as they were very cocky but technically sound. They managed to control the majority of the match by keeping Rowe isolated in their corner. Rowe managed to make the hot tag to Hansen that lead to a house cleaning. Throughout the match there was high paced action along with numerous near falls. Adam Cole later interfered to no avail as the referee allowed the match to continue. As the War Raiders set up their finisher, Bobby Fish returned to action and beat both War Raiders with a chair. Now the Undisputed Era is back to full capacity, this will probably set up a future War Games match with all contenders to be announced.

Bianca Belair vs. Nikki Cross: There was no love lost between these two as Nikki Cross attacked Bianca Belair from the onset of the match. This was a great clash of styles as the extremely athletic Belair went head to head with the volatile Cross. They both battled to frustration with not being able to take the other competitor down. Belair showed great strength with numerous power moves and Cross kept up with insane actions that led to near falls. As both of them laid out in the ring to exhaustion, we had another return as the lights went out and came back on to where Aleister Black was in the ring. With Belair nowhere to be found, Black requested Cross to come to him. She whispered something in his ear as it had him filled with rage. Hopefully this will conclude this mystery that has been dragging on for weeks.

MISSES

None.

FINAL THOUGHTS: Good week as it sets up for future actions. We also saw Britt Baker injured at the hands of a vengeful Shayna Baszler and a good somewhat of a squash match for Oney Lorcan and Danny Burch as they continue their comeback journey. We didn’t get many of the stars that we usually get this week but it definitely moved the needle as far as furthering storylines and adding possibilities.
