•Closing Commentary

Impact Wrestling aired footage from the Rockstar Pro Arena on this week’s Impact. Next week, Impact will also feature a match that was taped in the same arena.

In my opinion, it’s hard to perceive Impact as a “Major” professional wrestling company when its airing matches from an Indy show. The Rockstar Pro Arena is poorly lit and looks terrible on television. It’s difficult to take this company seriously when it’s being presented in this way.

Scott D’Amore and Don Callis have been running Impact for over a year now. It’s time they’re held accountable for how Impact is being run. Sami Callihan versus Brain Cage should have taken place at the Melrose ballroom, not the Rockstar Pro Arena. Hopefully, this is one of the last times Impact will air matches from an indy event.

On a positive note, since Bound for Glory, Impact’s TV show has been enjoyable to watch. The additions of Willie Mack and Ethan Page have freshened up the Impact roster. Jordynne Grace will also provide a new look for the Knockouts division, as she will make her debut next week. It’s a shame that so few people are watching Impact, as they have one of the best Women’s divisions in wrestling.
