WWE FASTLANE 2019 PPV ON-SITE REPORT
MARCH 10, 2019
CLEVELAND, OHIO AT QUICKEN LOANS ARENA
REPORT BY ANDY J., PWTORCH CORRESPONDENT

This was my first ever pro wrestling event!

The arena was 80 percent full, not including the top section blacked out starting at noon as you look at stage headed past hard cam.

The announcers did not get entrance music.

The biggest pop of the night was for hometown favorite The Miz followed by Kofi Kingston, then The Shield.

It’s also worth noting the place erupted during the Randy Orton-A.J. Styles segment.

Elias did a good job absorbing the heat with his promos, although everyone in my section at least was hoping for Finn Balor to come shut him up.

Nobody cared during the Charlotte vs. Becky match.

The entire arena pretty much turned on Mustafa Ali. Every time he was in ring the “We Want Kofi” chants were loud.

Overall, as my first experience at a live pro wrestling event, it was a lot of fun. It was very different to watching on TV.  But the booking decisions and throwing unadvertised matches in left us all very confused!
