Smackdown Rating: Smackdown drops third straight week headed into WrestleMania, Miz & Mrs viewership, key metrics in viewership and key demos

Tuesday night’s episode of WWE Smackdown Live on USA Network drew a rating of 1.60, down from last week’s 1.69 and the prior week’s 1.65 for the episodes featuring Gauntlet Matches.

Viewership was 2.141 million, down 252,000 the prior week.

One year ago, Smackdown drew a 1.74 rating and two years ago it drew a 2.02 rating.

Smackdown finished tied for no. 1 in the 18-49 demographic on cable TV on Tuesday night. “The Curse of Oak Island” on History Network outdrew Smackdown in viewership, but tied it in the key 18-49 demographic with a 0.7 rating.

Smackdown edged the NBA game between the Denver Nuggets and Golden State Warriors, which drew a 0.6 rating in the 18-49 demo. Smackdown also outdrew the NBA in total viewers. The NBA drew 1.658 million, nearly 500,000 fewer viewers total. Four shows drew more total viewers than Smackdown. Three of them were on Fox News.

Miz & Mrs drew a 0.4 rating in the key demo with 997,000 viewers. It was the no. 7 ranked show in the 18-49 demo. At least 15 shows drew more viewers on Tuesday night.
