This week’s episode featured a new and noticeable production technique.
During select matches, an NXT cameraman was stationed inside the ring as the action took place. PWInsider reported the news and indicates that the operator entered and exited the ring as the matches went on. The technique test wasn’t deployed for all matches, but was prominent during the Dusty Classic match between The Grizzled Young Veterans and The Creed Brothers.
The report does not detail how long NXT will move forward with this practice or whether it will make its way to the WWE main roster in the future.
