Triple H to provide health and future update in ESPN interview

Triple H will join Stephen A. Smith for an interview on ESPN’s First Take to provide and update on his health and future. Triple H announced the news with a Twitter post on Friday morning.

This is Triple H’s first major public appearance since suffering a cardiac event in September of 2021. WWE announced that Triple H underwent successful surgery to fix the problem, but he has not been a public player for the company since then. During his time away, Triple H’s priority project, NXT, was rebranded to NXT 2.0 and featured a complete makeover including color scheme, music, production, presentation, and star power. Shawn Michaels has reportedly been running things in NXT throughout Triple H’s absence.

Triple H is a 14-time world champion in WWE and has also had multiple runs with the WWE Intercontinental Champion and Tag Team Championship. He was a member of D-Generation X and Evolution during his full-time run in the company and entered the WWE Hall of Fame in 2019 with DX. He last competed in a WWE match on the January 11 episode of Monday Night Raw in 2021. On that night, Randy Orton was scheduled to face Drew McIntyre, but McIntyre had to be removed from the match due to a positive COVID-19 test. Triple H filled the gap, but the bout ended in a no-contest.

Triple H officially began an office career with WWE in 2010. In 2011, he became the Executive Vice President of Talent and Live Events. Currently he holds the position of Executive Vice President of. Global Talent Strategy and Development with the company.

Triple Has been married to Stephanie McMahon since 2003. The couple has three daughters together.
