SPOTLIGHTED PODCAST ALERT (YOUR ARTICLE BEGINS A FEW INCHES DOWN)...

Adam Page vs. Adam Cole for the AEW World Championship will take place on next week’s live episode of AEW Rampage. As declared this week on Dynamite, the match will be a Texas Deathmatch. This is the second time both men have met for the world title.

On Dynamite, Cole defeated Christian Cage in the opening match. ReDragon attacked Cage after the match, but were run off by Jurassic Express. With Cole alone in the ring, Adam Page walked out for a confrontation. Page got in Cole’s face and told him he’d give him the match he wanted, but that it would be on his terms. Page then said he would give Cole a title shot, but that it would only be with a Texas Deathmatch stipulation.

Page defeated Cole in the main event at AEW Revolution on March 6 and have been embroiled in a feud together since then. Page won the world championship at the Full Gear PPV last year, beating Kenny Omega for the title. Cole is a former NXT Champion and made his debut with AEW as a surprise at the All Out event in Chicago last year. Cole was the number one ranked wrestler in AEW when he face Cole the first time. Currently, he’s the number two ranked wrestler in the company.

On AEW Dynamite next week, ReDragon will continue their feud with Jurassic Express that exploded this week. Both teams will square off with Jurassic Express’ AEW World Tag Team Championships on the line.
