SPOTLIGHTED PODCAST ALERT (YOUR ARTICLE BEGINS A FEW INCHES DOWN)...

In just a little over a week since returning to the WWE, Cody Rhodes is the number two babyface on Monday Night Raw according to internal company lists.

In a report by PWInsider that listed the upper levels of the babyface and heel depth charts for both Raw and WWE Smackdown, Rhodes clocked in at two behind Bobby Lashley on the babyface side of the brand. A.J. Styles is listed at number three. On the heel side of things, Seth Rollins is the number one heel, with Kevin Owens, Edge, and Damian Priest right behind him. On Smackdown, Roman Reigns leads the way as the brand’s top heel with Drew McIntyre listed as the top babyface.

Since returning at WrestleMania in a match against Rollins, Cody Rhodes has worked with The Miz. Rhodes is scheduled to face Rollins at the WrestleMania Backlash PLE in a WrestleMania rematch. A.J. Styles is embroiled in a feud with Edge and Priest. This week on Raw, Styles squared off against Priest, but the match ended abruptly after the lights went out and Priest stared into the camera ahead of a commercial break.

Roman Reigns appears to be on course to face Shinsuke Nakamura for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship. Last week on Smackdown, Nakamura confronted Reigns and The Usos in the ring after he and Rick Boogs lost a tag team championship match at WrestleMania 38. Rick Boogs is sidelined due to a quad injury suffered at WrestleMania and his timetable to return is unknown.
