SPOTLIGHTED PODCAST ALERT (YOUR ARTICLE BEGINS A FEW INCHES DOWN)...

Happy Corbin vs. Madcap Moss has officially been added to the WWE WrestleMania Backlash PPV event. The news was made official during this week’s episode of Talking Smack that aired after this week’s Smackdown.

Corbin and Moss had been close friends and tag team partners throughout the latter portion of 2021 and into early 2022. Moss was in the Corbin’s corner for his showdown with Drew McIntyre at WrestleMania 38 and even faced McIntyre ahead of Corbin. After WrestleMania, both men stopped seeing eye to eye and are now on a collision course.

WrestleMania Backlash will air live on Peacock on Sunday May 8. Announced matches for the show include A.J. Styles vs. Edge, Cody Rhodes vs. Seth Rollins, Charlotte Flair vs. Ronda Rousey in an “I Quit” Match for the WWE Smackdown Women’s Championship, and RK-Bro vs. The Usos for the Unified WWE Tag Team Championship. RK-Bro will put their Raw Tag Team Championship on the line in the match and The Usos will do the same with their Smackdown Tag Team Championship. One winner will walk out of the event with both titles. Recently, Roman Reigns unified both world titles by beating Brock Lesnar for the WWE Championship and Universal Championship at WrestleMania 38.
