-They aired a great Starrcade video package.
(1) Bobby Roode beat Dolph Ziggler with Arn Anderson as the special enforcer. Video highlights aired of Anderson before the match. When Ziggler tried to use a chair, Anderson stopped him and then gave Ziggler a Spinebuster. Roode followed up with a Glorious DDT and scored the pin.
(2) The Bludgeon Brothers & The Colons & Mike Kanellis & Rusev beat The Ascension & Breezango & Sin Cara & Tye Dillinger.
(3) Naomi pinned Tamina (w/Lana) after a split legged moonsuit.
A Dusty Rhodes video aired. I did something I hadn’t ever done 30 years ago in the front row attending events. I chanted “Dusty! Dusty!”
(4) “The Natural” Dustin Rhodes beat Dash Wilder. Dustin came out to his old “Natural” theme song that he used in WCW. He talked about his dad and Starrcade afterward.
(5) Shinsuke Nakamura beat Baron Corbin via DQ so Corbin retained the U.S. Title after Corbin used a chair. Nakamura got a great response. Ricky Steamboat came out and greeted Shinsuke in the ring before the match.
Matt & jeff Hardy came out and introduced The Rock & Roll Express. The New Day joined them and danced.
(6) The Usos beat Kofi Kingston & Xavier Woods (w/Big E) and Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn and Chad Gable & Shelton Benjamin to retain the Smackdown Tag Team Titles ending when an Uso pinned Gable.
-A Ric Flair tribute video aired. Flair came out and thanked the crowd, then introduced his daughter.
(7) Charlotte beat Natalya in a cage to retain the Smackdown Women’s Championship. Ric came out to congratulate Charlotte afterward.
(8) A.J. Styles beat Jinder Mahal (w/The Singh Brothers) in a cage match to retain the WWE Title. Styles got a great reaction.

We accept reports in any format, but if it’s not much trouble, please format your report like you see above, with the matches numbered like this (1) , (2) , (3) , with the opening line of each match paragraph stating who beat whom (don’t just say Wrestler A vs. Wrestler beat with the result listed later; instead, state up front who won so those readers who don’t have time to read the entire report (i. e. their boss walks past their cubicle all the time looking beat their shoulder) can at least quickly assess the results.
Also, please list tag teams using the “&” symbol as opposed to stating “and. ” Reserve use of ” and” when listing results in a three-way or four-way match where there are no teams (i. e. ” Wrestler A beat Wrestler B and Wrestler C in a three-way match” ) so it is easy to differentiate a handicap match from a three-way match.
Rowan pinned Harper?
Why is it you wrestling “writers” are so consistently inept at providing accurate information in your pieces? This happens so many times here and on other wrestling websites it’s just stunning.
I don’t think Rowen pinned Harper! Makes zero sense.
