TNA announces India tour; Great Khali surprise appearance

TNA will tour India in December, TNA announced Monday.

Three events will take place, including a “One Night Only” PPV taping in Mumbai on December 4.

Headline stars include Kurt Angle, former TNA Hvt. champion Ethan Carter III, Bobby Lashley, TNA tag champions The Wolves, and Knockouts champion Gail Kim.

Indian star Shera is also scheduled for the tour. Shera and Great Khali will be looking for a new Indian star to join the TNA roster.

Khali, the former WWE mainstay, was a special guest at Monday’s announcement in India.

Also in attendance were ECIII, Shera, Rebel, and TNA executive John Gaburick.

The India tour is a joint production of TNA and their TV partner, Sony Six, titled “The Great Partnership.”
