Rhyno says he is planning to start his own independent wrestling promotion, “Insane Wrestling Revolution.” Rhyno did not reveal an initial date, but said he plans to keep ticket prices low to make the shows affordable for families. (Interview on Another Wrestling Podcast)

– The NWA is setting up ROH star Michael Elgin as a potential next challenger to the NWA World Hvt. Title held by Jax Dane. Elgin recently debuted in the NWA by defeating former NWA Jr. Hvt. champion Steve Anthony in Tennessee.

“The Rock” Dwayne Johnson is featured in a new trailer for Oprah’s “Master Class” show. Johnson teased on Twitter that he talks about a suicide attempt in his family.

– Leading into next week’s release of the “WWE 2K16” video game, 2K Sports published a detailed overview of video game enhancements for this year’s game. Specifically, enhancements to the “Universe Mode.”

– TBS released three video clips from Paige’s appearance on “Conan” Thursday night. Clip #1 – Paige teaches Conan O’Brien how to yell like a wrestler. Clip #2 – Paige talks about her wrestling family. Clip #3 – Paige talks sensitive wrestling injuries.

Mickie James says she would like to return to WWE, specifically to wrestle Sasha Banks and Charlotte, but it’s not up to her. In the meantime, she’s enjoying working with Jeff Jarrett for Global Force Wrestling.

“I’d love to go back there (WWE) again because I loved my time there. I think the answer is always the same, but the ball isn’t really in your court. I’ve been able to leave my mark there and I’m happy and grateful for that. Of course I would go back if they asked me,” Mickie said on the TJRWrestling podcast with John Canton and Rey Moralde.

Following up on “Hulk Hogan’s Beach” being sold, the new property will be called “Beach Bar / Restaurant.” Hulk Hogan previously licensed his name to the restaurant, but he did not have an ownership stake, reports the Tampa Tribune.

MTV’s website published a report on The Miz’s appearance on the “Middle of the Night Show,” which aired Thursday night on MTV.

“The Rock” Dwayne Johnson unveiled an official partnership with Under Armour. This follows Johnson’s new promotional deal with Ford Service.
