Weekend Box Office Results for The Rock’s new movie

The weekend estimate for “The Rock” Dwayne Johnson’s new movie is about $35 million domestic revenue.

Going into the weekend, the predicted result for “Central Intelligence” was $35.4 million. The current estimate for the weekend is $34.5 million.

The movie finished second behind the other big weekend release, “Finding Dory,” which set animated movie records with an estimated opening weekend of $136.1 million.

Concerning Rock’s movie, the comedy co-starring Kevin Hart graded an “A-,” according to CinemaScore. Also, the demographics were 49 percent male and 51 percent female.

The movie is projected to reach $100 million domestically over the next few weekends, reports BoxOfficeMojo.com.

Rock is also expected to make a big international push to add to the movie’s total revenue. The movie has currently drawn $6.8 million overseas to bring the worldwide total to $41.3 million.
