Ring of Honor announced Tuesday they are introducing Six-man Tag Titles. The first champions will be determined at the Final Battle PPV on December 2.

This is similar to New Japan introducing the NEVER Openweight Six-man Tag Titles earlier this year.

ROH is planning to hold an eight-team trios tournament starting in September that culminates at Final Battle.

The first three teams teased for the tournament are current ROH tag champions The Addiction & Kamaitachi, representatives from Bullet Club, and The Cabinet (ANX & Caprice Coleman).

Tournament Schedule

  • Sept. 30: Opening matches at All-Star Extravaganza PPV in Lowell, Mass.
  • Oct. 1: Opening matches at post-ASE TV taping in Lowell, Mass.
  • Oct. 29: More tournament matches in Baltimore
  • Dec. 2: Finals at “Final Battle 2016” in New York City
