SPOTLIGHTED PODCAST ALERT (YOUR ARTICLE BEGINS A FEW INCHES DOWN)...

WWE released Sara Lee on Friday, a story first broken by Pro Wrestling Sheet. She won Season 6 of Tough Enough and earned a $250,000 contract. Lee was voted the winner of Tough Enough by viewers, but was meek and sky on camera, often goaded by coaches to show more intensity or drive.

Reportedly, Sara Lee has revealed on her Facebook page that she is pregnant, due to give birth in May 2017. Blake Weston of “Blake & Murphy” is the father.

Mandy Rose, the runner-up that season, remains active in NXT.

Keller’s Analysis: Sara Lee just didn’t look like a realistic prospect during Tough Enough, and was used sparingly since training at NXT. It was maddening to watch her try to be something she just wasn’t fit for both on the mic and in the ring. If a happy family and baby result from her Tough Enough victory, she’ll have something more important than a WWE contact to show for her time with WWE.
