NEWS ITEMS: Samoa Joe replacement named in Mixed Match Challenge, NJPW touring Australia next month, Enzo injury update

-With Samoa Joe’s foot injury, Elias will team with Bayley in the Mixed Match Challenge series last week. Joe won fan voting to be entered in the series, beating out Elias and Jason Jordan. The series begins next Tuesday on Facebook Watch.

-New Japan will be running live events in Australia next month featuring Kazuchika Okada, Hiroshi Takahashi, Canada & Evil, Cody, The Young Bucks, Bad Luck Fale, KUSHIDA, Minoru Suzuki, Juice Robinson, Will Ospreay, Lance Archer, and more. Tour dates are Feb. 16 in Adelaid at Titanium Arena, Feb. 17 in Melbourne at Festival Hall, Feb. 18 in Sydney at Quay Centre, and Feb. 19 in Perth at HBF Stadium. Tickets go on sale on Jan. 12.

-WWE posted a video on YouTube of Enzo Amore receiving four stitches for the cut he received from a kick delivered by Cedric Alexander in their match on Monday Night Raw last night.
