Last night’s episode of WWE Monday Night Raw on USA Network drew a 2.24 rating, down from the 229 rating the week before. The rating being down is likely a result of going up against the NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament Finals.

The monthly average in March was 2.22 so this is right in line with that. A year ago, the day after WrestleMania, Raw drew a 2.62 rating. That was well above the prior eight week average of 2.20.

The ten week rolling average headed into this week was 2.22. The yearly average so far is 2.23.

The hourly dropoff was as small as it’s been in over eight months with a drop from the first to third hour of 116,000. The hourly viewership was 3.43 million, 3.33 million, and 3.31 million. That’s about as steady as it gets for Raw, likely due to fans staying tuned for the John Cena-Undertaker segment and anticipating a possible Undertaker appearance before the end of the show; WWE also built up Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns potentially getting into a battle later in the show, too.
